Stephen Allsopp, BSc. (Hons), PNCPS (Accred), MASIIP, Dip. Adl. Couns.
Hello! I qualified as a counsellor in 2007, after a 30 year career in IT, and spent the first part of my counselling career working with children and adolescents, alongside counselling in a GP surgery.
My initial training was integrative, then I qualified in 2019 as an Adlerian counsellor, and my practice brings elements of person-centred, psychodynamic, existential and Adlerial psychology together, adapted to suit the needs of individual clients.
I also work as a clinical supervisor of other counsellors.

Hi, I have worked as a counsellor for the past 14 years. Having grown up on a farm in West Wales, I learnt that growth requires patience, nurturing, resilience and sometimes means sitting through storms. I am an integrative counsellor, I focus on real lived experiences. rooted in person centered empathy, but drawing on the here and now of Gestalt and the practical solution focused side of Human Givens. I am also a mindfulness practitioner so happy to walk with you through nature, while we talk, as well as the more traditional therapy room practice if you prefer.
